POSITION PURPOSE
Supervised by the Executive/Technical Director, this position will oversee the Administrative branch and the day-to-day office duties at the Iowa Rush Soccer Club. This position requires someone with a macrovision as well as covering the details of the club’s daily operations. The Director of Operations should be an outgoing individual who can work both independently and within a team setting. The ideal candidate will possess the knowledge and abilities to increase the recognition of the Club within the community which will result in increased membership. This person will also be responsible to provide assistance as needed in our quest to provide our members with the best soccer experience possible. MINIMUM SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

Computer literate and great organizational skills
Demonstrated leadership in managing groups and major events, projects or initiatives. Comfort level in working within registration systems Ability to multi-task and manage multiple expectations Three years in similar job description Grant writing experience

This position requires some flexibility in scheduling. He/she must have a commitment to youth soccer and growing the game and the club in all they do. The Director of Operations must be able to be multi-task oriented, time efficient and comfortable working with a diverse membership with unique needs while providing consistency in decision making and planning based on club policies and objectives. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Oversee and lead branding, marketing, promotions, fundraising (Grant writing if applicable) and sponsorship. 2. Oversee club events (Select Tryouts, Family Fun Day, Trivia Night, Futsal Tournament, etc) and lead committees. 3. Oversee and manage the administrative department and their respective programs, budget centers and responsibilities. Including overseeing membership databases while ensuring accuracy of details and privacy of information. 4. Oversee and create appropriate policies, procedures, timelines and documents needed to standardize and streamline administrative processes while keeping club calendar accurate and up to date. 5. Oversee and lead updates to the Iowa Rush website and social media outlets. 6. Oversee email provider, registration database provider, hotel provider, team and membership communication systems, etc. 7. Manage weather alerts including member notification through appropriate communication and procedures. 8. Oversee and manage the concession stand, concession stand manager, inventory, city emergency procedures, work with outside vendors, etc. 9. Oversee and update the overall field usage master schedule and communication with city on field conflicts/scheduling. 10. Oversee and manage IA Rush uniform ordering, training t-shirts, spirit wear and REACH efforts for club. 11. All Iowa Rush Staff are expected to: Participate in Rush activities/events as assigned; contribute to the Iowa Rush Soccer Club’s website, social media and other PR/marketing efforts; be prompt, professional and be a good employee working with the club’s best interest in mind; perform other duties as assigned.
