FAQs How do I turn on Do Not Disturb Mode?
If I am in DND do I still get messages?
Tap on your Settings, which is on the top left of your phone or top right on the desktop. From this menu, simply toggle the Do No Disturb switch on and set a reason, i.e. “Out of Office”.
Yes, you will still get messages and message badges inside of the Lua application. You will not get push notifications or sound alerts for new messages. The badge icon for Lua will still display the unread message count.
What if I read a message, will the person or group know I read it?
What if I forget to turn off my DND?
Yes the ReadReport will show the message as read, but your status will not be active.
You will always know you are in DND mode. In each conversation you will be displayed as DND. Also in the People tab you will be shown as DND. Administrators can also override DND and set all statuses back to available.
Can I message someone who is in DND? Yes, you can still message users in DND, but the expectation is that they are not available to respond.
