Do you want to be a better leader?

Do you want to be more successful? Do you want to be a better leader? Do you want to have more influence with your teammates? Do you want to make your friends better? Do you want a valuable thing to list on your resume or college application? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions then you want to apply to be on the Marion Giant Student-Athlete Leadership Team. As a member of this, we’ll talk about issues that affect Marion student-athletes. You’ll also be taught many things to help you be more successful in athletics, in school and in the community. These sessions will be new from what you learned last year if you were a part of the leadership training. The sessions will be held once per week during “Success Period”. If selected, a commitment to attending and actively engaging in the assignments and discussion is expected. Please turn this application in by October 19 to be considered. Individuals will be selected based upon the application, coaching recommendations, academic and behavior history.
