2017 AFS Metalcasting Safe Year Award Application
Award Criteria This award recognizes AFS Corporate Member facilities (at a single location) that have achieved one year/365 consecutive calendar days without a lost-time accident. To qualify for the award, the one-year milestone must have been met on any date in 2017.* The one-year count begins on the day following the last lost-time accident or, in some cases, the date the previous one-year milestone was reached. * The start date may begin in 2016 or 2017 and continue for 365 consecutive days, the end date must occur in 2017. Only AFS Corporate members are eligible to enter. Application deadline is Friday, January 19, 2018. The awards will be presented at the AFS Environmental Health and Safety Conference (Fall 2018).
