I further agree to allow my credit card, which is on file, to be charged for any damage. I understand, and will comply with, the following well-‐behaved dog regulations during my stay at the Cliffside Inn: • • • • • •

Dogs are not permitted in the main building or on the exterior porches of the main building. Dogs are not permitted on the furniture. (If you feel your dog may try to get on the furniture, please ask the innkeeper for coverings.) Dogs are not to be bathed in the whirlpool tubs or showers. Dogs must be leashed when on Cliffside Inn grounds. The Town of Newport also requires that dogs be leashed, unless otherwise posted. Housekeeping services will not be provided to rooms where a dog has been left unattended during housekeeping hours. The inn and the Town of Newport require that dog owners remove dog waste. The inn provides waste bags, which should be deposited in the silver refuse can located at the driveway entrance to the Seaview Cottage. I attest that my dog has never injured or threatened to injure anyone. I agree that I am liable for injury to any person or any animal caused by my dog while on the inn premises.
Your dog may remain in your guest room unattended. Guests will provide a crate; if they are concerned that their dog may damage furnishings. Should your dog cause a disturbance while you are out, you will be contacted by phone and you agree to return to the inn immediately.
