The total cost of the trip is £1699 based on 40 students. If we do not get 40 students then the price may have to be reviewed. There is no supplement for snowboarding and students cannot do both, it is one or the other for the full 5 days. Snowboarding is also dependant on a minimum of 8 students of similar ability choosing this option. Any student, 16 or over at the time of travel, will be subject to Air Passenger Duty which is an additional charge of £78. Behaviour thresholds before being accepted onto the trip: You will appreciate that on a residential trip like this, so far away from home, the staff accompanying will be concerned about behaviour and supervision. It would be wrong to put staff in a position where they have to deal with serious cases of bad behaviour or dissent. With this in mind, the campus will not allow any student with a C2, excessive C1’s, behaviour points above 20, an exclusion or poor attendance (below 90% unless medical evidence can be provided) to attend the trip. This will be monitored very closely and we reserve the right to withdraw a place at any time. I am sure you will understand the necessity for this approach and support the campus in doing so. Please discuss this with your child so you are all fully aware of the actions we will be taking if necessary. Deposits and payment Information If you would like your son/daughter to go on the ski trip, then we will require a £150 deposit to secure the place by Friday 13th April or until the trip is full. Places are allocated on a first come, first serve basis. The final payment is due by 1 November 2018 and a payment schedule for the balance will be issued when places are confirmed. All deposits are non-refundable*, (unless the trip doesn’t go ahead due to the lack of interest). *If refunds are made for exceptional circumstances between 1 November 2018 and 31 December only 35% of £1699 will be refunded. After that, no refund will be possible. Payments can only be paid via Parent Pay www.parentpay.com. Paying this way secures your place immediately. If you do not have email or the internet, please contact reception on 0116 2879921 to discuss methods of payment. Yours sincerely st
