Latch type lock A mor tise lock is installed inside the door and door jamb and comprises a Lock Casing and a Striking plate / Mortise.

A latch lock is surface mounted to the door or door jamb and is used when the installation does not permit a mortise lock. A latch lock is comprised of a Lock Casing and a Latch Keep.
Operational modes ZKTECO has a wide range of Electric Strikes with different functions and characteristics which allow our products to be applied to any type of installation. We have Electric Strikes for almost all applications: wood, aluminium, steel, iron, glass, heavy doors, fireproof doors… Our Electric Strikes work in three standard modes: Normal, Automatic and Automatic Timed, along with the variants and different versions which are derived from them. Other, specific, Electric Strikes for professional use with special functions are also available.
Normal Mode (N)
Automatic Timed Mode (At)
Normal mode is blocked when “resting” (i.e. No current is applied). This ensures the door remains locked until an electrical impulse is received and opens the mechanism.
Automatic Timed mode is opened for a specific time. When the Electric Strike receives an electrical impulse the Electric Strike opens for a time which is proportional to the duration of the impulse (between 5 and 30 seconds), the mechanism will then return to the blocked, closed, state.

Automatic Mode (A, Ab, Aa) Automatic mode allows for the Electric Strike to be opened upon receiving an electrical impulse although not necessarily immediately. This mode can open the mechanism from the moment the impulse is received until the door is opened and closed again. Our products allow for several automatic modes depending on the construction of the Electric Strike.
Automatic mode (A) keeps the Strike open until an access has been made – this function is possible thanks to a latch position tripper on the front of the mechanism which is activated by the electrical impulse.
Sliding Automatic mode (Ab) is a new function integrated in our newer range of Strikes. The standard Automatic position tripper is substituted with a traveling tripper which moves along with a sliding latch and permits this to adjust efficiently to the striking plate.
Invisible Automatic mode (Aa) implements the automatic mode internally, without any additional external moving parts. A brief pulsation period is recommended for correct operation of this version.

Inverted (512) Fail-safe, or “500” function. This unit works in an inverted fashion, the Electric Strike is open when no impulse is received and blocks / closes upon receiving the electrical impulse. If power is lost then the access will be left open.
Switched (305) This version incorporates a micro switch which signals when the access is opened or closed. Additional cabling allows this strike to be connected to a security or access control system and allowing many different applications to be implemented.
Available electrical options In addition to the different modes and mechanical options offered, the majority of ZKTECO’s Electric Strikes are also available with variants which depend on the type of voltage used.
Direct Current (DC)
Alternating Current (AC)
Fail- secure or “400” function. This is similar in operation to any Normal (N) mode Electric Strike except the lock is kept unblocked / open while an electrical impulse is received, for example, indefinitely. The Strike will close once the impulse is removed. In some models this is standard operation.
AC is standard throughout Europe and for that reason our Electric Strikes are available with this in mind. Electric Strikes which work with AC voltages should receive brief impulses to lengthen their operational lifespan.
Additional mechanical characteristics ZKTECO offer our customers a series of additional mechanical functions which are intended to complement the other existing functions. These are Unblocking and Flex Regulated.
Unblocking (U)
Flex (F)
This incorporated an unblocking lever which allows the manual unblocking of the Strike. This is permanently selected until the lever is returned to the normal position. This option is ideal for accesses which require the door to be left open for prolonged periods.
The version with the Flex regulated latch incorporates a sliding latch which permits this to adjust automatically to the door handle / lever.

Reversibility, symmetry and radial latches Within the Electric Strike classifications we can distinguish between different models which are symmetrical, reversible or radial.
How to determine the side of the door
A symmetrical Electric Strike can be used in left handed or right handed installations. All symmetrical Strikes are also reversible. Hinges

The radial system incorporates a latch which rotates on its own axis and in this way reduces the perimeter of movement (see shaded area in diagram). The installation of this type of Electric Strike is easier to adjust and gives better visual results as it allows for a much narrower gap between the door and the jamb.

Non symmetrical Strikes can be reversible or non-reversible. For non-reversible models it should be specified if the door will be right handed or left handed as there are variants for both. This diagram helps you identify if your door is right or left handed.
Different components of an embedded door strike installation If you are an end-user or an installer who wishes to install our Electric Strikes all our products have been designed with ease of installation in mind, simple operation while maintaining maximum levels of security and reliability. The first step to install one of our products is to make a notch in the door jamb with sufficient dimensions to house the mechanism of the Electric Strike. A longer notch will be required to ensure that the mortise is recessed flat with the door edge.

Symmetric electric lock The 45 Series is noted for being symmetrical and reversible. The 44 Series, besides being symmetrical and reversible like the Series 45, and with the exact same dimensions, is distinctive in that the latch rotates radially.

Series 50
Reinforced electric lock
The 50 Series is characterized by its robustness, making it an ideal solution for high traffic or heavy doors. The latch steel guarantees fracture resistance of up to 800 kg. Symmetrical and reversible, the Series 50 locks are ideal for security installations. Available in adjustable and monoblock version, installation is facilitated by a long cable outlet. In the switch version the microswitch is located inside the monoblock; so that the lock does not lose symmetry.

Waterproof electric lock Series 62 is waterproof, dustproof and complies with IP65 certification. It is designed to ensure optimal performance of the lock in adverse environmental conditions. The mechanism box is protected by a seal and an internal partition; thus, insulating the lock from water and dust. This model can incorporate, in turn, a manual release in the shape of a turning knob.

Series 77
Electric lock Anti-Pressure
In the 77 Series ZKTeco features a door lock intended to be fitted to safety and emergency doors. Its internal construction allows unlocking under pressures of up to 450 kg, according to certificate NF_S_61-937 with number CET0100362. It is also certified EN 14846. Additionally, it incorporates a diode that prevents electronic interference and extends the life of the coil.

Anti-Panic electric lock The 82 Series consists of reversible surface locks, with concealed fixing, concave cover latch and is adaptable to a panic lock latch. They come with eight 1 millimeter thick cover supplements that allow installation with virtually all types of panic locks. The 82P variant is particularly suitable for American type panic bars. It comes standard with a latch for a perfect fit with the bar. Optionally, it can be ordered with a projector compatible with panic locks that include a counter latch(security lock system which prevents opening of the lock.)

AC DC D96 Latch lock is a reversible and adjustable outer cylinder (inputs 50 to 70 mm ). It works either in AC and DC and its coil is waterproof to extend its life. The standard outer cylinder has a length of 50 mm. With the CL extender, however, it can have a maximum length of 90 mm. The D96 / B variant incorporates a cylinder inside to lock the release button leaving only the electric opening enabled.

The D97 is a superimposed external electric lock featuring a controllable cylinder cover and long output cables. Must be ordered left or right hand and is supplied with round key lock and five keys. It works in DC and AC. The finish is light gray. Provided with an inner cylinder that blocks the release button, it can also be used for only interior electrical opening.

The D98 stands out for its suitability for both indoor and outdoor opening: to reverse the direction of the lock by pulling the handle and turning 180 degrees. Once mounted it opens through an integrated door handle and when closed, the profile with the suction cups is completely hidden by the door profile. This system can be quickly and easily installed (10 minutes) and the finish is modern and aesthetic with wires hidden inside the frames. This solution is suitable for offices, shops, public buildings, etc. and for all types of doors (wood, metal and glass ) and can operate from 12 to 48V giving the facility a holding force of up to 600 Kg .

Latch type lock A mor tise lock is installed inside the door and door jamb and comprises a Lock Casing and a Striking plate / Mortise.

A latch lock is surface mounted to the door or door jamb and is used when the installation does not permit a mortise lock. A latch lock is comprised of a Lock Casing and a Latch Keep.
Operational modes ZKTECO has a wide range of Electric Strikes with different functions and characteristics which allow our products to be applied to any type of installation. We have Electric Strikes for almost all applications: wood, aluminium, steel, iron, glass, heavy doors, fireproof doors… Our Electric Strikes work in three standard modes: Normal, Automatic and Automatic Timed, along with the variants and different versions which are derived from them. Other, specific, Electric Strikes for professional use with special functions are also available.
Normal Mode (N)
Automatic Timed Mode (At)
Normal mode is blocked when “resting” (i.e. No current is applied). This ensures the door remains locked until an electrical impulse is received and opens the mechanism.
Automatic Timed mode is opened for a specific time. When the Electric Strike receives an electrical impulse the Electric Strike opens for a time which is proportional to the duration of the impulse (between 5 and 30 seconds), the mechanism will then return to the blocked, closed, state.

Automatic Mode (A, Ab, Aa) Automatic mode allows for the Electric Strike to be opened upon receiving an electrical impulse although not necessarily immediately. This mode can open the mechanism from the moment the impulse is received until the door is opened and closed again. Our products allow for several automatic modes depending on the construction of the Electric Strike.
Automatic mode (A) keeps the Strike open until an access has been made – this function is possible thanks to a latch position tripper on the front of the mechanism which is activated by the electrical impulse.
Sliding Automatic mode (Ab) is a new function integrated in our newer range of Strikes. The standard Automatic position tripper is substituted with a traveling tripper which moves along with a sliding latch and permits this to adjust efficiently to the striking plate.
Invisible Automatic mode (Aa) implements the automatic mode internally, without any additional external moving parts. A brief pulsation period is recommended for correct operation of this version.

Inverted (512) Fail-safe, or “500” function. This unit works in an inverted fashion, the Electric Strike is open when no impulse is received and blocks / closes upon receiving the electrical impulse. If power is lost then the access will be left open.
Switched (305) This version incorporates a micro switch which signals when the access is opened or closed. Additional cabling allows this strike to be connected to a security or access control system and allowing many different applications to be implemented.
Available electrical options In addition to the different modes and mechanical options offered, the majority of ZKTECO’s Electric Strikes are also available with variants which depend on the type of voltage used.
Direct Current (DC)
Alternating Current (AC)
Fail- secure or “400” function. This is similar in operation to any Normal (N) mode Electric Strike except the lock is kept unblocked / open while an electrical impulse is received, for example, indefinitely. The Strike will close once the impulse is removed. In some models this is standard operation.
AC is standard throughout Europe and for that reason our Electric Strikes are available with this in mind. Electric Strikes which work with AC voltages should receive brief impulses to lengthen their operational lifespan.
Additional mechanical characteristics ZKTECO offer our customers a series of additional mechanical functions which are intended to complement the other existing functions. These are Unblocking and Flex Regulated.
Unblocking (U)
Flex (F)
This incorporated an unblocking lever which allows the manual unblocking of the Strike. This is permanently selected until the lever is returned to the normal position. This option is ideal for accesses which require the door to be left open for prolonged periods.
The version with the Flex regulated latch incorporates a sliding latch which permits this to adjust automatically to the door handle / lever.

Reversibility, symmetry and radial latches Within the Electric Strike classifications we can distinguish between different models which are symmetrical, reversible or radial.
How to determine the side of the door
A symmetrical Electric Strike can be used in left handed or right handed installations. All symmetrical Strikes are also reversible. Hinges

The radial system incorporates a latch which rotates on its own axis and in this way reduces the perimeter of movement (see shaded area in diagram). The installation of this type of Electric Strike is easier to adjust and gives better visual results as it allows for a much narrower gap between the door and the jamb.

Non symmetrical Strikes can be reversible or non-reversible. For non-reversible models it should be specified if the door will be right handed or left handed as there are variants for both. This diagram helps you identify if your door is right or left handed.
Different components of an embedded door strike installation If you are an end-user or an installer who wishes to install our Electric Strikes all our products have been designed with ease of installation in mind, simple operation while maintaining maximum levels of security and reliability. The first step to install one of our products is to make a notch in the door jamb with sufficient dimensions to house the mechanism of the Electric Strike. A longer notch will be required to ensure that the mortise is recessed flat with the door edge.

Reinforced electric lock
The 50 Series is characterized by its robustness, making it an ideal solution for high traffic or heavy doors. The latch steel guarantees fracture resistance of up to 800 kg. Symmetrical and reversible, the Series 50 locks are ideal for security installations. Available in adjustable and monoblock version, installation is facilitated by a long cable outlet. In the switch version the microswitch is located inside the monoblock; so that the lock does not lose symmetry.

Waterproof electric lock Series 62 is waterproof, dustproof and complies with IP65 certification. It is designed to ensure optimal performance of the lock in adverse environmental conditions. The mechanism box is protected by a seal and an internal partition; thus, insulating the lock from water and dust. This model can incorporate, in turn, a manual release in the shape of a turning knob.

Electric lock Anti-Pressure
In the 77 Series ZKTeco features a door lock intended to be fitted to safety and emergency doors. Its internal construction allows unlocking under pressures of up to 450 kg, according to certificate NF_S_61-937 with number CET0100362. It is also certified EN 14846. Additionally, it incorporates a diode that prevents electronic interference and extends the life of the coil.

Anti-Panic electric lock The 82 Series consists of reversible surface locks, with concealed fixing, concave cover latch and is adaptable to a panic lock latch. They come with eight 1 millimeter thick cover supplements that allow installation with virtually all types of panic locks. The 82P variant is particularly suitable for American type panic bars. It comes standard with a latch for a perfect fit with the bar. Optionally, it can be ordered with a projector compatible with panic locks that include a counter latch(security lock system which prevents opening of the lock.)

AC DC D96 Latch lock is a reversible and adjustable outer cylinder (inputs 50 to 70 mm ). It works either in AC and DC and its coil is waterproof to extend its life. The standard outer cylinder has a length of 50 mm. With the CL extender, however, it can have a maximum length of 90 mm. The D96 / B variant incorporates a cylinder inside to lock the release button leaving only the electric opening enabled.

D98 Series Latch lock

The D98 stands out for its suitability for both indoor and outdoor opening: to reverse the direction of the lock by pulling the handle and turning 180 degrees. The outer cylinder is adjustable and the inner cylinder allows the locking of the button. There are five keys and a round cylinder. There are left and right variations.

Series ProFast
Electromagnetic lock latch
The ProFAST closure system is a novelty product comprising of an aluminium frame which is mounted on the door and another on the door frame to which two embedded electromagnetic locks are installed. Once mounted it opens through an integrated door handle and when closed, the profile with the suction cups is completely hidden by the door profile. This system can be quickly and easily installed (10 minutes) and the finish is modern and aesthetic with wires hidden inside the frames. This solution is suitable for offices, shops, public buildings, etc. and for all types of doors (wood, metal and glass ) and can operate from 12 to 48V giving the facility a holding force of up to 600 Kg .
