ouble Eagle Alloys has an experienced staff of metal specialists to assist you when inquiring or ordering finished shafts. We have an on-staff metallurgist to assist in material selection. As with any inquiry or order, there is vital information required to properly quote and/or manufacture the desired shaft. Every inquiry or order should include the following: Once the order is entered, the specified tolAlloy Grade/UNS Number erances are evaluated. Below is a list of our Specifications standard tolerances. Special tolerances are Material Condition available upon request. Double Eagle Alloys knows that if the material is processed perfectly, but does not make it to the customer that way, then all of the work and special handling is for naught. We take great care in packaging to assure your order arrives the same way it left our facility. This includes export shipping and handling. fter shafts have been ground and polished, regardless of alloy, they look very much alike. Although often color coded, traceability can be lost if the ends are cut. Double Eagle Alloys solves this problem with our custom designed, continuous line marking machine. Any pertinent information can be marked including alloy, size part number, specification, etc.
