Directions : I-25 to Colfax Avenue. East on Colfax to Bannock St, then south approx 3 blocks to the race area. Course Description : Approximately a 1-mile figure eight course, bordered by 9th & 12th Avenues, Acoma & Delaware Streets. Start/Finish located at 10th & Bannock. Parking & Warm-up : Plenty of on-street parking. This is a commercial district; please avoid parking in places that may obstruct passage to businesses, their patrons, or any residents of the area. On-course warm up will be limited to 1 lap between events. Rollers or trainers are recommended.
Registration : Online pre-registration encouraged at www.FrontRangersDenver.org or http://mad.sc/bnk14 available through Wednesday July 30, 2014 11:59pm MDT. $8 late fee for Race Day registrations; $15 for additional races supplemental to your licensed category, race day only.
Race day registration : Opens at 6 am and closes 40 minutes prior to each event. ALL riders must check in at least 40 minutes prior to their event. USAC license required for all racers. Annual licenses are available at www.usacycling.org. A USAC 1-day beginner license available onsite for SM 5, SW 4, and Juniors who have never previously held a USAC license with a higher category for $15. It is strongly suggested this license be secured prior to the race. BRAC annual membership recommended to avoid a 1-day membership fee of $5 on race day (exempt with purchase of 1-day USAC beginner license). USAC Release Waiver must be signed by all racers, or parent/guardian for anyone 18 years or younger. Entry fee includes all USAC and BRAC surcharges.
Timing & Results : Riders will be scored separately in combined events. Information: call Jim Levy 303.220.5050, [email protected] or www.frontrangersdenver.org Juniors: • GEAR RESTRICTIONS apply to all juniors (9-18); blocked gears acceptable • BIKE RESTRICTIONS apply to juniors 14 and under. To be eligible for Colorado State Championship medals, you must hold a current CO annual USAC license, and be a USA citizen or permanent resident. Additionally, to receive the Colorado State Champion vest you must be a current CO annual member of BRAC. Championship Medals awarded to the top 3 places.
