Project Description

Let me tell you more about the Downtown L.A. stadium proposal. It calls for building a state of the art football stadium that can be used for other spectator events and also building a new convention center exhibition hall. This new hall will replace the 40 year-old west hall. In addition, the stadium will also be designed to provide exhibition space for the convention center. The stadium and improved convention center, in combination with the Staples Center and L.A. live, would complete the sports and entertainment district in Downtown L.A. The stadium would be privately financed and the convention center improvements will be made at no cost to taxpayers. 2
