Concepts We Discussed: “Drag” is a force that pushed back against an object in motion. Dragsters are long and narrow, to create as little drag as possible. Dragsters accelerate faster than a jumbo jet, a fighter jet, or a Formula One race car. The tires on a dragster are specially designed for traction, and wear out after about four to six races -- just two miles!
