Dressage Masters Top 10 League 2017 This competition is designed to promote dressage competition and participation for Masters Riders. The Flying Horse series provides an opportunity for riders to compete against peers at five different levels at all levels of events and competition regardless whether riders compete locally, at Premier League events or nationally. The competition will be open to riders 50 years and over and is run in five divisions plus special awards. For CN – C2 Riders on horses competing at Level 1 and above For C3 & C4 Riders on horses on competing Level 1 and above For C3 & C4 Riders on horses competing at Level 3 and above For C5 - C9 Riders on horses competing at Level 1, 2 & 3 For C5 - C9 Riders on horses competing at Level 4 and above Open to new ESNZ competitive member joined since 1/4/2017 Highest Score in each Island Highest age horse/rider combined Horse with zero grading points at date of purchase by current owner and may not have earned any grading points with any other rider at any time.

Conditions 1. Enter on line at www.equestrianentries.co.nz no later than 28 February 2018 2. Horses made be entered in any level for which they are eligible as per the grading rules, but if a horse for instance is entered in Section 3, no points from any classes below level 3 will be accrued 3. Riders must be 50 years and over at 1 January 2017 4. Rider category as at 1 August 2017 5. Competition runs from 1 August 2017 until 30th April 2018 6. Maximum of 10 scores to count from events on the official DNZ Calendar 7. Riders may contest the league on more than one horse 8. Downgraded horses are eligible 9. In the event of a tie, the highest top 10 average percent will be deemed the winner 10. Participants must be annual competitive members of the ESNZ 11. All participating horses must be registered and have annual starts for graded competitions 12. Points are accrued as a combination Scoring 1. Awards points can be earned in graded competitions only 2. Points are awarded as follows Percentage 57 – 59.99% 60 - 62.99 63 - 66.99 67 - 69.99 70% plus

A CAm rider may compete in Amateur competitions at any level not more than two levels below that rider’s rider category. e.g a C5 rider may compete in any CAm competition or series at level 3, 4 and 5. A C4 rider may compete in any CAm competition or series at levels 2,3 and 4.
