Drinks + Design at ArcelorMittal Design Studio @ CAF Enjoy an evening of cocktails and LEGO Chicago, Ill.—The ArcelorMittal Design Studio @ Chicago Architecture Foundation (CAF) is the new happy hour spot. On select Wednesdays from February through November, young professionals in the Loop and beyond are invited to mingle with others, enjoy libations and get creative with LEGO. A new theme for each event will be the inspiration for designs created by adults as they work together to explore the playful side of architecture while learning about principles from top experts in the industry. With the Willis Tower recently being deemed the second tallest skyscraper in the U.S. behind New York’s Freedom Tower, the February Drinks + Design event explores what constitutes a “tall” building, as explained by the professionals at the Council for Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat and Bill Baker from the acclaimed Skidmore, Owings and Merrill.
