DUAL APPOINTS REGIONAL MANAGING DIRECTOR OF ASIAN OPERATIONS [Tuesday, 22 October 2013]: DUAL International, part of Hyperion Insurance Group, announced today the appointment of Mark Spadaccini as Regional Managing Director of DUAL Asia, responsible for both the Hong Kong and Singapore offices. Currently Managing Director of DUAL Singapore, Spadaccini has been with DUAL for 5 years, and will be responsible for the next stage of development of the Asian operations. He will continue to report to Damien Coates, CEO of DUAL Asia Pacific. Coates commented: "Our business in Asia began in Hong Kong in 2009, and with our Singaporean operation now a year old and fully established we can begin to further align our approach as we develop in this important region for DUAL. Philip Chiu, General Manager of DUAL Hong Kong, has been instrumental in laying the foundations for our platform in the region, and my personal thanks go to him for his leadership. With Phil now leaving DUAL, Mark, who has worked so hard to launch and develop our operation in Singapore, steps up to lead the aligned charge. He is very well placed to take DUAL Asia, with the support of our partner MSIG, to the next level. As part of this restructure, Jodie Chung, a founder of our Hong Kong business, will also be promoted to General Manager – Hong Kong, reflecting her immense contribution to the business." Our specialist business, in conjunction with MSIG's unique distribution platform continues to develop strongly with close to 2,000 policyholders.
