Jason Johnson Dudley Little League 9/29/15
[email protected] Title
Executive Summary Although 2015 was another year of diminishing enrollment, the league ran with most age groups for both baseball and softball. Financially the league is sound, with a majority of expenses surrounding uniforms and baseballs. Expenses such as electricity for the shed and lights were next. The fall season showed continued decline in enrollment, however most age groups are represented. Thanks to the hard work of the volunteers, the fields were well taken care of and safe for play.

Condition of the League Between 2014 and 2015 there was about an 18% drop in enrollment (approx. 220 to 180). Previous years have shown decreases as well. In the Spring of 2014 there were 7 teams between Minors and Juniors, in 2015 there were only 4. In the Fall of 2014 there were 5 teams between Minors and Juniors, in 2015 there are only 3. As the number of players decreases, the league still has been able to provide safe grass and dirt fields maintained by the Board, coaches, and some volunteers at clean up days. Thanks to coaches, volunteers and board members the bathrooms and trash has been maintained. Sully’s maintained the Snack Shack again this year with a declining number of games and therefore less customers.

Finances Current checking accounts balance $15818.28 (9/23 at 4:44PM). Some outstanding bills – Fall uniforms, electricity for remainder of Fall, payment to Charlton for Juniors, and Umps. It is the Treasurers opinion that this is a healthy position to be in with Charter dues coming before any more money arrives, potential loss of Nichol’s as a sponsor, and potential field maintenance pending in the spring.
Assets
Current assets are similar to the end of last year. There are large amounts of equipment in the sheds, especially catcher’s equipment. There are two lawn mowers and assorted line marking equipment. There are two pitching machines. There are two portable mounds. There are two scoreboards. The hood in the snack shack has been repaired and is part of our facilities.
Debt
Last year a loan was taken out to pay for the new scoreboard. This loan has been paid off as of the beginning of September and there is no outstanding long term debt known to the Board.

Members in Good Standing This is the current list of volunteers that have successfully turned in a CORI application and have been registered with the League in 2015. By the rules of the League these are the only people that can vote in a League poll. Others can volunteer for future consideration and may be added to the ballot. If successfully added to the BOD they will then be asked to turn in a CORI.
