Eastbourne Borough Council are investing £40 million refurbishing the Devonshire Park complex including a new welcome centre, two new conference halls, better facilities for tennis players and repairs to the Devonshire Park Theatre along with a new foyer. Train times to London are approximately 90 minutes and Gatwick Airport is just 45 minutes away. The port of Newhaven is 13 miles to the west. There are extensive plans to improve the A27 and the Government has already announced its intentions to invest around £350m into various projects along its route.
