CALLING ALL SCOUTS AND FAMILY MEMBERS I need your help with the demolition and rebuild of the above wildlife blind at the Jamaica Bay Refuge. We will be replacing the roof, repairing fences, removing invasive plant life and painting. My project is schedule to begin on Saturday, March 28, 8:00 am to Noon and Sunday, March 29, Noon until 4 pm. To all scouts, while helping me with my Eagle Scout project you will have the opportunity to
earn the Resource Stewardship Scout Ranger patch shown above. A minimum of 10 hours is needed to earn this patch.
So, please keep next week open and lets hope we have some great weather and spend sometime at Gateway National Park - Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge. Must wear long pants, long sleeve shirts and boots. Protective eyewear and gloves will be provided. Text me at 347-306-2484 with your name and also let me know if your parent(s) are available to carpool or help with the rebuild. I will coordinate rides to the Refuge and lunch for both days.
