QUICK HITS - Last week, Bethel (Tenn.) started the action with a come-frombehind win over Pikeville (Ky.) on the road, 24-21. The Wildcats scored a touchdown with less than three minutes to play in regulation to secure the victory. - In the only divisional matchup last week, Georgetown (Ky.) defeated Cincinnati Christian (Ohio), 35-7. This is the second time this season the Tigers have held their opponent to seven points. - Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) moved to 4-0 on the year with a 62-23 road win over Bluefield (Va.). After the Rams made it a 21-20 game early in the second quarter, the Blue Raiders closed they game on a 41-3 run. - Faulkner (Ala.) picked up their second-straight win with a 31-6 lead over Kentucky Christian. The Knight made it a one-point game in the second quarter, but the Eagles scored the final 24 points in the game to grab the win. - Rounding out the week, Cumberland (Tenn.) edged out Cumberlands (Ky.) at home, 17-14. With the game tied, 14-14 heading into the fourth quarter, the Phoenix scored the only points in the final quarter as they secure their first win of the season. - Following week four and the West Division winning all four crossovers last week, the West takes a 9-5 lead over the East in the crossovers this season. - In this week edition of the NAIA Top-25 Coaches’ Poll, the MidSouth Conference had five teams mentioned in the poll. - After being tied for fifth last week, Reinhardt (Ga.) slipped to No. 6 in the poll with 27 points. - Lindsey Wilson was the lone team from the MSC to stay put in the poll as they are ranked seven the poll with 260 points. - Georgetown moved up four spots to No. 14 in the poll with 164 points. - Faulkner moved back up to 19th after entering the season at No. 19. The Eagles garnered 97 voting points. - Bethel was mentioned in the poll in the poll for the first time this season as they moved into the receiving votes section of the poll. The Wildcats earned five votes as they are six spots outside of the top 25.
