AGCC ECUADOR MISSION 2017
In the summer of 2017, Aspen Grove Christian Church will be taking a short term mission team to serve at the Hacienda of
Hope, high in the Andes Mountains of Ecuador. The Hacienda of Hope is both an English school and Children’s Home. The school has grown to more than 200 students and has become the magnet school for the area. The Children’s Home provides a permanent home and family for displaced children. Our team will spend 4 days working with the Hacienda of Hope doing basic construction jobs, spending time with the kids, & leading outreach projects to the local community.
Our trip will be a seven day trip, two travel days, 4 days working with the HOH & one sight seeing day. The actual date of the trip is dependent upon the price of plane tickets, but we are targeting the 2nd week of July. Several things help make this trip a great option if this is your first short-term mission: same time zone, same currency, easy day of travel, we will work at a school that teaches English. In Ecuador you will find beautiful landscape & a kind gentle people. You will fall in love!
