This session provides an overview of special education accommodations and modifications: What is the difference between accommodations and modifications? What are the roles of the special and regular educator in providing accommodations and modifications? How can you work better in your classroom?

Dr. Craig Murphy, William James College The hot topic in schools today is the behavioral health of our students. In this session, Dr. Craig Murphy from William James College will review the issues confronting our students and how to best help them. Dr. Murphy will explore with participants issues that school professionals face and strategies that educators can use to help improve the behavioral health of our students.
Developing effective co-teaching relationships between the regular educator, special education teacher and the paraprofessional is key to the success of our students. This session reviews the different types of co-teaching environments and explores ways to build effective teaming opportunities.
$275 for BICO member districts & $325 for non member districts BICO Member Districts are: Attleboro, Bellingham, Blackstone-Millville, Easton, Foxborough, Franklin, King Philip, Mansfield, Milford, Norfolk, North Attleboro, Norton, Plainville, Swansea, Tri-County, Walpole and Wrentham.
