Softball Hitting & Fielding Instructions with Katie Sullivan Katie is now available to work with your daughter on the mechanics of softball hitting and fielding.
To schedule a private or group lesson Call Eich’s at 815-436-9044 Hello my name is Katie Sullivan & I would love to work with your daughter. Using various drills that have helped myself to increase bat speed, and contact rate, I will help her become the best athlete she can be. Using my own experiences, I will teach the essentials of a solid swing and help your daughter to learn to hit to all fields, as well as the situational aspect of the game. Defensively, I will teach her the methods that have helped me become the player I am today. Personally, I have been playing competitive softball since the age of 7. I had played all 4 years while attending Plainfield South High School, and during my senior year, I was recruited by JJC’s head coach Emily Marino to start my collegiate career, as well as being apart of the 2015, 2016 JJC Wolves softball program. I was given the opportunity to start every game as a member of the Wolves. This past season, 2016, was a career best, where I batted .395 with 42 hits, 19 doubles, 1 triple, 9 HR’s and 36 RBI’s, as well as finishing with a .951 fielding % while playing 1B. This past season I was selected to the N4C All Conference and All Region teams. During this time, I was recruited by Head Coach Sarah O’Malley Fisher to finish out my collegiate softball career as a Concordia University of Chicago Cougar starting Fall 2016.
