1 General Description LED Tube Light adopts the new type LED as the light source, using the standard T8 tube’s end caps, making it easy to install and replace the traditional fluorescent lamp. The

LEDP-18T8U6/XXK, Retrofit kit consists of LED Tube Lamp (1 pcs) and installation instruction (1 pcs). - For use in dry location only. - Has been evaluated for use with ceiling fixtures and not suitable for use in totally enclosed recessed fixture. - Not for use with light dimmers. - These lamps should be installed by an electrician. - These retrofit kits work on line voltage and require all ballasts and starters to be removed before the bulb is to be installed in the fixture. - Use in -20~30 degrees C environmental conditions. - Do not install in a raceway or a luminaire marked for through branch wiring. - These devices are not intended for use with emergency exits. -Always connect ground lead to fixture where applicable. - These

Recessed, or surface-mounted fluorescent luminaire that use U tubular maximum 2-foot lamp without diffuser. - The lamp pins receive power to one side, please see Installation Instructions. - Please connect your authorized dealer, distributor, or Eiko, Ltd. if you have any questions not addressed in these instructions. - Remove the thermal protector used in the recessed luminaire if any.

2 WARNING IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Danger – Risk Of Shock – Disconnect Power Before Installation. WARNING - Risk of fire or electric shock. The electrical rating of these products is 120-277Vac; the installer must determine whether there is 120-277Vac at the luminaire before installation. This product must be installed in accordance with the applicable installation code by a person familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved. WARNING - Risk of fire or electric shock. Luminaire wiring and electrical parts may be damaged when drilling for installation of LED retrofit kit. Check for enclosed wiring and components. WARNING - THIS DEVICE IS NOT INTENDED FOR USE WITH EMERGENCY EXITS WARNING - Risk of fire or electric shock. LED Retrofit kit installation requires knowledge of luminaires’ electrical systems. If not qualified, do not attempt installation. Contact a qualified electrician. WARNING - Risk of fire or electric shock. Install this kit only in the luminaires that have the construction features and dimensions shown in the photographs and/or drawings. Do not make or alter any open holes in an enclosure of wiring or electrical components during kit installation. WARNING - To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to edges of sheet metal or other sharp objects. WARNING: To avoid potential fire or shock hazard, do not use this retrofit kit in luminaires employing shunted bi-pin lampholders. Note: Shunted lamp holders are found only in fluorescent luminaires with Instant-Start ballasts. Instant-start ballasts can be identified by the words “Instant Start” or “I.S.” marked on the ballast. This designation may be in the form of a statement pertaining to the ballast itself, or may be combined with the marking for the lamps with which the ballast is intended to be used, for example F40T12/IS. For more information, contact the LED luminaire retrofit kit distributor. WARNING –Installers should not disconnect existing wires from lampholder terminals to make new connections at lampholder terminals. Instead installers should cut existing lampholder leads away from the lampholder and make new electrical connections to lampholder lead wires by employing applicable connectors.

2 > Installation procedure: Step 1.Remove all of the wires, starter, ballast, and related electrical components,,etc. See Fig.2 and Fig.3 Step 2.According to the schematic wiring diagram connect line and neutral to the side of the

lamp indicated by the lamp’s “input” label. See Fig.1, Fig.2, Fig.3 and Fig.4

Following are the installation of 3 different fixtures: a.Luminaire with starter.

c. These LED tubes can retrofit maximum two lamps in one luminaire. The revised circuit diagram is shown in Fig.4 below. Again, the ballast must be cut out of the circuit so only line voltage is used. Please see Fig.1, Fig.2, Fig.3 and Fig.4 to cut wires and to connect wires as follows:
