Avoid a Ticket by Obeying Traffic / Parking Laws The El Segundo Police Department is dedicated to the safety of the community. There has been an ongoing concern with traffic congestion in front of and around our schools, primarily just before and after school hours. In order to ensure a safe school environment, we ask for the cooperation and patience of all parents and guardians when dropping off/ picking up students. Please obey all traffic laws and parking restrictions near our schools. To improve the safety of the community, we ask that you DO NOT pick up or drop off in the following areas:
Driveways
No Stopping Zones
Double Parking
Red Zones
Crosswalks
Handicapped
To avoid a ticket, please follow the suggestions above and help provide the community with a safe environment for students. For any questions, please call the Special Operations Division at (310) 524-2296.
