ELBERT TIMOTHY MOORE,SR. MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP The Town of Snelling offers a $1,000.00 scholarship in memory ofthe late Mayor ELBERT TIMOTHY MOORE,SR. to a selected student who meets the following criteria:
Eligibility Criteria: *Candidates must be a senior at Barnwell High School, Barnwell, SC,approved for admission to a college, university or school. *Candidates must plan to major in a field of study that focuses on political science or agriculture. *Candidates must have a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 through the 2016 fall semester. *An official copy of candidate's high school transcript must accompany the application. *Candidates must submit a one-page word processed 12 point font, double spaced essay, expressing their reasons for choosing to major in political science or agriculture, why they think they should be selected for this scholarship, and an overview oftheir future aspirations using either political science or agriculture. The essay must be attached to the application.
The application deadline is April 28, 2017.
