Figure S1. Effect of Weed Suppression Management Practices on Plant Performance and Plant Vitality Measures in a Tomato Cropping System. Significant differences were observed across the three weed suppression treatments (control, clover cover crop, and black plastic mulch) in the experimental tomato cropping system for (a) plant height, (b) number of branching stems and, (c)intensity of leaf color. No significant differences were observed across the three treatments for number of fruit, number of leaves, leaf strength, and overall plant vitality (not shown).
