DAY CAMP June 10-11 Grades K-8
TEAM CAMP June 22-24 (Varsity, JV, and AAU Teams)
Each day is filled with instruction based on very basic fundamentals with emphasis on becoming a better overall player. Special attention will be given to shooting and footwork, specific offensive fundamentals as well as the development of selfconfidence, teamwork, and motivation. Special awards will be given daily and at the conclusion of the camp. The camp is geared for a high energy setting, where the kids stay active and enthused while learning fundamentals. First Day Check In: 8:30am (HPER Building) Fundamental Day Camp: June 10-11 Grades K-8 (9:00 am – 1:00 pm) Bring a snack & drink
Each school must have a minimum of 8 players (we recommend 10). The coach needs to be in charge of the actions of his/her players on and off the court. Each team will be guaranteed a minimum of 6 games with a tournament. This is a great opportunity for coaches and players to work together as they build for the next season. Teams should send their registrations in together with registration forms, COPY of physicals and payment in one packet. ELITE CAMP June 8-9 Grades 9-12 The Elite Camp is geared toward the experienced basketball player. Elite camp features high intensity drills designed for the player looking to further develop her offensive and defensive skills. Emphasis will be given to offensive skill work for player’s positions. All offensive and defensive techniques will be addressed through game-like situations. First Day Check In: 8:30 am (HPER Building) 8:00 am (Overnight Campers) Elite Hornet Camp: June 9-10 Grades 9-12 (9:00 am – 4:00 pm) Camp Cost: $75 – Grades 9-12 (Bring lunch) $125 – Overnight (Includes 4 meals & 1 night)

JORY COLLINS HEAD COACH
Jory is the sixth head coach of the Lady Hornet basketball team and the first to win 20 games in each of his first four years. Last year Collins led the Lady Hornets to 30 wins, Emporia State's third straight NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearance and Back to Back MIAA Tournament Championships. Collins has led the Lady Hornets to 20 wins over ranked teams in his first five years. He was the lead assistant as the Lady Hornets won the NCAA Division II National Championship in 2010. Collins has been a member of the Lady Hornet coaching staff for fourteen seasons and ESU has advanced to the NCAA tournament in eleven of those seasons. He has helped develop numerous First Team AllConference and First Team AllAmerican athletes at Emporia State.
BRIAN McINTOSH ASSISTANT COACH
Brian is in his fifth season as an assistant coach for the Lady Hornets. In addition to coordinating the Lady Hornets recruiting efforts, McIntosh is also responsible for coaching guard play, scouting opponents and supervising the strength and conditioning program.
CAMP LOCATION All camps will be held on the campus of Emporia State University (GYMS ARE AIR CONDITIONED) and beautiful White Auditorium. Housing will be in airconditioned dorms. Dorms will be well supervised with counselors and coaches. Campers will not be permitted to leave without permission. Overnight campers should bring all toiletries, bedding, towels, t-shirts, shorts, socks, basketball shoes and spending money for snacks and drinks at the “camp store” along with optional nightly pizza orders.
CONDITION and HEALTH CARE A physical exam signed for the 2014-2015 school year is required for each applicant attending the Elite Camp or Team Camp. A member of ESU’s Athletic Training Staff will attend the Elite and Team Camp.
