Meet at Elko BLM Office and travel to South Fork field site

8:30 am:

South Fork State Park field-site: Seeding diversification of crested wheatgrass monoculture (companion study) Sagebrush transplants in crested wheatgrass seeding

10:00 am: Travel to Eight-Mile field site 10:30 am: Eight-Mile field site: Small-plot herbicide treatments in cheatgrass Sagebrush transplants in native herbaceous post-burn site 12 noon:

Sack lunch and travel to Sheep Creek field-site

1:00 pm: Sheep Creek field site: D7 bacterial control of cheatgrass Large-plot herbicide treatments in cheatgrass Cheatgrass treatments with variable glyphosate rates 3:30 pm: Travel back to Elko 4:30 pm: Arrive in Elko

Sagebrush transplants at the South Fork field site after one year’s growth are showing high survival and healthy growth rates. The Elko, Nevada BLM office is located at 3900 East Idaho Street. From I-80, take the ‘East Elko Exit’ (exit 303) and travel south 1 block on E Jennings Way. Turn east (left) onto East Idaho Street and travel east approximately 1 mile to the BLM office. Look for the office on the south (right) side of the road.
