Westgate-On-Sea is close by and provides a variety of shops, public houses, a cinema and a railway station providing a regular service to London. Our Time Here We have lived here in Elm Grove for the past 10 years and have been very happy here during that time. The first attraction for us was the space; we had been living in a three bedroom semi in Surrey and couldn't find anything in our price range of this size. Perhaps my favourite room is the kitchen extension, which I love. It is a peaceful room and lovely to sit in and watch the birds in the garden. The local community is great, I have made many friends through my children attending the local schools. The schools are very good, my children still attend, one is in the school in our road! We love the ease with which we can get to local places, there is a good train and bus service, we regularly go into Margate and are members of Dreamland. My daughters often go to the cinema with friends. We will miss the central location of the house, with the shops just around the corner and my husband will miss the two minute walk to and from the station.
