Emergency Medical Plan Golf at Los Lagos Country Club In the event of a medical emergency, accident, or injury involving a student-athlete or staff member, the following procedures will be initiated: Event Coverage: ATC on site • Prior to the start of the event, the ATC and coaching staff will familiarize themselves with the emergency medical plan of the facility as well as the location of working phones along the course. • In the event of a medical emergency, the emergency medical plan of the facility takes precedent. In the absence of a formal emergency medical plan, the ATC will evaluate the injured athlete to assess the need to activate EMS. If needed, the ATC will then designate an individual to activate EMS via 911. The ATC will remain with the injured athlete until EMS arrives. • An individual will be designated to inform the facility management of the presence of a medical emergency, including the location on the course and nature of the emergency. • The ATC will follow the injured athlete to the Emergency Room with the appropriate insurance information and paperwork. Los Lagos Severe Weather Policy Evacuation Plan Signals for the suspension of play will be as follows: (A)Suspension for a dangerous situation: One prolonged siren or air horn note. (B) All other types of suspension: Three consecutive air horn notes. (C) Resumption of play: Two air horn notes.
