Encourage your friends to sew! Tell them about these classes. Beginner Sewing Classes for those who have never sewn or have very little experience! Take a few classes, make a few projects and earn your very own sewing machine. Choose class dates that work best with your schedule. Learn the basics of sewing: basic piecing, inserting zippers, making buttonholes, and much more. Join us for at least five of these classes to receive your free sewing machine. Teens and beyond, every age is welcome.

Quilting Basics Have you been thinking about learning how to make a quilt? These classes are for you. In creating this beautiful sampler quilt you will learn how to pick the perfect fabrics for your project, basic piecing techniques, machine quilting, and many great tips and techniques. Build confidence from our experienced teacher during these six sessions. Class Policy 1. To register for our classes, we require class fees to be paid at least one week ahead. 2. Stop by our store and ask for a supply list so you can be sure to have what you need for the class. 3. If we do not receive enough sign ups for a class, we will refund your money or credit that amount toward another class or any purchase in our store. 4. To receive a full refund on a class fee, please let us know one week before the first class. To keep posted with the latest classes visit our website www.greencastlesewing. com. Supply list for the classes are posted on line as well. Just click on the class and you should be able to see the supplies you will need for each class.

Do you have loads of projects from Carol’s classes that are in various incomplete and chaotic states? Then join her to finish those projects. She will provide the help, motivation, and inspiration to get those projects out of the bins, baskets, and closets and FINISHED! Bring the supplies needed for your UFO, and the instructions. Mitered Corners and Binding Many quilt patterns simply say "miter the borders and bind the quilt edges" with no direction at all. This technique class gives detailed instructions on how to miter borders and apply perfect binding every single time. You will be making a table mat while learning these techniques.

Triangle Frenzy Hexagon Table Topper Cut some triangles, spin them around, rearrange them, and sew them together. So many variations can be created with this pattern. Just use a 60 Degree Triangle ruler, some striped fabric, and start creating.
