Project Description:
Basic hexagons to learn this easy hand sewing technique. Make a small manageable project about the size of a mug rug.
Pattern or book: Due to copyright laws each student must have their own copy of the pattern. You will need the Hexie Candy Quilt kit, which includes the hexie papers and instructions.
Fabric and Sewing Supplies Required: Fabric scraps at least 2” square (a mini charm pack of 2.5” squares works great for this project.
60 or 80 weight thread Sharp needle! Starch brush from Traditional Primitives Mini iron—if you have one, please bring it along Pressing cloth or ironing pad Finger stiletto (will be demoed during class. Super helpful if you prefer this method) Thimble Pins, scissors, seam ripper, fabric marking pen or pencil, spare needle
Cancellation & Bad Weather Policy: Payment reserves your seat in class. If you need to cancel, a full refund will be given if you cancel 1 week before class or sooner. If a class is cancelled for bad weather it will be rescheduled.
