You should do this course if you are focussed on self-employment or interested in working in a business environment. This course provides you with the opportunity to plan, set up and run your own business through a structured programme of learning. Working alongside other businesses and employers you will gain first-hand experience of real business issues.

What does this course consist of?

The Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship (1080 GLH) is equivalent to three A levels and has been designed as a full two-year programme of study, enabling you to develop a substantial common core of knowledge that includes business planning and pitching, launching your business vision, operating your business, leadership and teamwork and monitoring the performance of your business.

How is this course assessed?

The framework awards credits for qualifications and units. Each unit will be assessed individually with possible awards of Pass, Merit and Distinction which make up the whole qualification. This will enable you to gain qualifications at your own pace along a flexible path.

What will this course lead on to?

This course will enable you to progress onto Higher Education, seek employment within an organisation or continue to operate your own business.
