INTRODUCTION On February 4th, the SENIOR FOIL SATELLITE WORLD CUP TERRASSA, official championship of the fencing World Cup’s international circuit, will be held. The Catalan Fencing Federation, the Ciutat de Terrassa Fencing Club and the Spanish Royal Fencing Federation, with the support of Terrassa’s Council, the Catalan Sport Council and the Union of Sport Federations of Catalonia, organize this prestigious competition. This is the fifth edition of this tournament that turns to senior category and in the previous edition, which it was junior, was one competition of the circuit with more participation. Also this year wins interest hosting again a competition the next day scoring for the European U23 circuit. In this amazing place and success in the previous edition, Sunday, February 5th, we celebrate the INTERNATIONAL OPEN TERRASSA, a foil senior competition, this time in male and female form. This competition is included into the Spanish National Ranking. The inscription is open for the international fencers and men and women will be scoring in U23 European Circuit.

INTERNATIONAL OPEN: These fencers who participate in the World Cup, must also register at the Open Sub23 if they wish to participate. Following EFC rules, these fencers, which have not been registered, previously, will not accept to the Open. There are three registration procedures depending on the type of fencer. Each fencer must register exclusively the correct way: a) Category sub23 fencers • Any nationality fencers born between 1994 and 2002 (inclusive). • Fencers must be in possession of the European Fencing Confederation license. • Registration procedure: through the web http://www.eurofencing.info/ • Deadline: According to rules of registration of European Confederation. (http://www.eurofencing.info/theefc/rules).
b) Fencers with RFEE license senior over 23 years • Any nationality fencers born in 1993 or earlier. • Fencers must be in possession of RFEE license. • Registration procedure: Following the usual procedure through the application of RFEE licenses. • Deadline: According to rules of RFEE registration. c) International fencers senior over 23 years • Any nationality fencers born in 1993 or earlier. • Fencers must be in possession of a national federation license other than the RFEE. • Registration procedure: Send an email to [email protected] with the following information of each fencer: o Names and surnames o Date of Birth o Club to which you belong o Nationality shooter o Nationality or sports license o Contact or Email • Deadline: registration before January 27, 2017 at 23: 59h.

The referees shall be confirmed at the fencer’s confirmation time and must be at the disposal of the Technical Directory throughout the competition. They must confirm their presence on the day of the competition at 7:30 h at the Directoir Technique.

TRANSPORT Transport Barcelona Airport (El Prat T1) – Terrassa
The organization offers a transport service from Barcelona airport (Terminal T1) to Terrassa for arrivals, and also from Terrassa to Barcelona Airport for departures. Transfer service Booking: In order to make use of this service, you must book it by filling the Request Form and mailing it to [email protected] before January 20th. Download Request Form from official website or find it attached to this document. Pick up points, and all terms of service are specified in the Booking Request Form. Deadlines and service availability: Please respect deadline. Requests received after January 20th will be also considered, but be aware that in that case service won’t be granted unless shuttle availability allows it.
