If it does not fit at first, turn the chair around. It should insert smoothly. Push down firmly to be sure the chair is fully seated into the tabletop mounting.(fig.9)

Place your child into the chair. Fasten and adjust the FIVE-POINT SEAT HARNESS so it fits snugly and securely. The waist and shoulder belts both attach to the same latch plate on either side, and then the latch plates are snapped into the harness buckle. To release the harness, simply press the large button in the center of the buckle and both sides will release together.(fig.10)

Slide the tray smoothly onto the chair. It has three preset positions into which it can lock. TIP: Depending on your floor surface, it may help to hold the unit steady by placing your foot on the front table rail as you insert, adjust, or remove the tray.(fig.12) Adjust the backrest by squeezing the latch on the rear of the seat to release it, move it to the position you desire, and release the latch. Tug on the seat back gently after adjustment to be sure it has locked into place. There is one upright position and two reclined positions for a total of three seat positions.(fig.13)

Pull the shoulder, waist, and crotch belts through the holes on the seat pad. Lift the seat pad off the seat. See care instructions on PAGE 2 or on the label attached to the seat pad.

To convert the highchair to a playtable and chair, or to use the chair as a low feeding table with the tray, simply pull the chair legs up and out of the tabletop mounting. Firmly grasp both sides of the chair and pull up on BOTH sides at the same time. It helps to steady the table by placing your foot on the front table rail. The chair and table can be separated and re-joined over and over again giving you added versatility for children of different ages or for different activities throughout your day! For use from approximately six months (when your child can sit unassisted) and up in the highchair (to a maximum of 40 lbs/18 kgs), and from approximately 2 years to approximately 6 years (40 pounds/18 kg) when converted to a playtable and chair (maximum age varies depending on the child's size/weight and activity level).
