Water

automatically stop by themselves; however, many children splash when they use them, wasting water.

 Most classes have access to water during lessons.

One lunchtime we found:

 8 milk cartons  12 pieces of fruit  Chocolate wrappers in the secret garden

 Blue paper towels on the floor in 3 bathrooms

Global Perspective As part of the International Primary Curriculum, several year groups have learned about our impact on the environment. For example, Year 5 have been learning about the causes and consequences of global warning, Year 4 have researched Fair Trade chocolate and Year 2 have led the school in sponsoring the education of a child in Malawi.

8 out of 25 classrooms had closed their windows and turned off their lights and projectors.
