A distant cousin who lives in IfJest Virginia wrote me recently that he thought Elizabeth's maiden name was Boothe and that they did indeed come from Virginia. would like to get in contact with other people working on my VIhitlock line. Carpenters and iNhitlocks intermarried a number of times inEdgefield County, South Car61ina. My paternal Grandmother was a Carpenter from Edgefield County, South Carolina, and her mother was the Whitlock.
