Epsilon Kappa Alumnae Chapter July 1, 2014 Dear Sisters in Epsilon Kappa, The annual membership drive for Epsilon Kappa Chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta is again underway. Thank you to all who are current or past members of Epsilon Kappa Alumnae Chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta. Our 2013-2014 membership drive was very successful, and as a result, our alumnae chapter has grown! Last year we had 94 members, the best year since the alumnae chapter re-established five years ago. We are so excited about the success of EKAC! Your annual $25 membership dues and donations support our chapter and provide collegiate sisterhood activities through recruitment, scholarship, and philanthropy. Because of the generosity of our members this past year, we were able to provide the following for the collegiate chapter and Pittsburg community: Bid Day lunch Gifts for new members Recruitment Training Day lunch Emajeane Boone Scholarship - $500 Jacqueline Iley Scholarship - $500 Connie Yates Brown Scholarship - $500 (managed by AGD Foundation) Added to the principal of Emajeane Boone and Jacqueline Iley Scholarships Sponsorship for the collegiate chapter annual golf tournament to benefit the AGD Foundation Pittsburg Safehouse Crisis Center – paper good donation We are very excited to be able to provide this type of support to the collegiate members as well as the Pittsburg community and want to continue to do so year after year! All of this would not be possible without the continued support of our Epsilon Kappa sisters. Attached is a membership form for the 2014-2015 year. Please consider renewing your membership in Epsilon Kappa Alumnae Chapter. You helped us make such a big difference last year! If you are not a current member, we invite you to join and reconnect with us. Any excess monies collected through dues and donations will be placed in our local scholarship investment funds. Once these funds reach an endowment level, they will be self-sustaining for future scholarship awards. This will ensure we are able to continue to offer these scholarships well into the future! NO PART OF YOUR DONATION WILL PAY FOR ANY SOCIAL ACTIVITIES. SOCIAL EVENTS ARE PAID FOR BY THE INDIVIDUALS PARTICIPATING IN THOSE EVENTS.
