The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in locating Edward Tucker. Tucker was arrested on October 27th, 2015 by Sheriff’s deputies and transported to the Central Receiving Facility in downtown Bakersfield. While sitting in the rear seat of a patrol car in the parking garage prior to being booked Tucker was able to escape from the patrol car and flee the area on foot. Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate him. A warrant has been issued for Tucker’s arrest for being under the influence of a controlled substance, being under the influence of a controlled substance while in possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine, possession of an illegal weapon, possession of paraphernalia, and escape. Tucker may have access to firearms and should be considered armed and dangerous.
