INTRODUCTION The Eton FRX3 uses a single internal, rechargeable nickel-metal hydride battery. Unfortunately, this battery may not last forever and will slowly lose it's abbility to hold charge over time. But luckily, swapping it out for a brand new one doesn't even require a screwdriver!

Step 1 — Rechargeable Battery Pack 

Pull the plastic tab on the battery compartment cover pannel, to loosen it and pull it off.



Disconnect the battery pack wires from the device and remove the battery pack.
