This includes generating proposals for client retention and new clients. The Senior Benefits Analyst manages the communications and data between clients, insurance carriers and the Bulfinch Benefits team. The Senior Benefits Analyst carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: data management, proposal generation, and administration of value-add services, creation of client presentations and designing client communications for employee distribution. The Senior Benefits Analyst works within a team which manages employee benefits solutions through client-focused relationships and detailed analysis. The Senior Benefits Analyst will support a high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, productivity, quality, and client satisfaction Key personality traits that define a successful Senior Benefits Analyst: Client Centric - motivated to ensure client satisfaction Independent – the ability to work independently with appropriate guidance from management Detail Oriented – responsible for ensuring that work is accurate and complete Problem Solver – capable of making decisions with the information available Social – position requires considerable client interaction and the ability to build relationships with the client is a key attribute. _____________________________________________________________________________ Responsibilities Learn best-selling skills practices and/or willingness to improve/develop existing sales Develop and maintain strong carrier relationships Support and manage the RFP process, plan modeling and implementation Audit census information to develop strategy solutions for clients Organize/Analyze spreadsheet rating information Create client proposals Craft communication tools for clients Lead and manage multiple client implementations and employee meetings Design client informational pieces Respond to client inquiries/billing/claims issues The Bulfinch Group is a General Agency of The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, New York, NY. 2015-11209. exp 9/17
Educate clients on federal and state mandates Serve as a resource for clients to navigate the ACA in Large Group Market
___________________________________________________________________________ Education & Experience Minimum of 5+ years of experience in employee benefits consulting either with a brokerage firm or carrier along with claims analysis experience Candidate must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
