The importance of play in the development of children is gaining increased recognition world-wide. Why is this? Play is considered a fundamental building block for all children. While this comes easily to many children, it can be a real struggle for others, especially those children with social skills deficits. The lack of play can hinder a child’s development in many ways. Please join us at this seminar to: • Examine the importance of play; • Learn various techniques to teach play; • Discover tools to engage in play; • Find out how to effectively incorporate peers; and • Assess your effectiveness, as a parent, teacher or other professional, engaging children in this area.
