Through movement you can access more awareness and understanding of how the body works, developing movement repertoire through gentle exercises, which strengthen muscles, lubricate joints and work towards a more economical posture and healthier alignment. Movement has also the potential to release pent up emotions. Classes include movement exercises, dance/movement, visualisations, breathing exercises, and stretching.

Tuesday afternoons 1.30pm to 3.00pm 5 weeks starting on 26 April At The Hours, 10 Colston Yard, BS1 5BD These courses are funded as part of a research project looking at the impact of learning activities and courses on feelings of wellbeing, mood, anxiety, depression and general mental health. Because of this ,learners will be asked to complete confidential questionnaires at the beginning and again at the end of the course.
