The Classic Program Overview The purpose of our Classic Program is to provide higher levels of training and competition for players who are serious about soccer, but not ready for the premier level.

Everest’s Philosophy Everest’s purpose is to develop players and teams that can compete at the highest levels. Our highly qualified staff will instruct the proper technique, tactics and fitness needed to make high school, ODP, college and professional teams. It is our hope that players will learn and grow in this environment and have the self-motivation and natural abilities to achieve these levels.

What Makes Everest Unique? 

Facilities: Everest has eight full size outdoor fields and access to three indoor fields in bad weather. We also have four sets of Coerver goals for training.



Staff: Everest staff coaches are all nationally licensed and insured and many hold the highest coaching licenses attainable in the U.S.



Program: We offer a 4 hours of professional training each week for every 1.25 hours of game. We also offer a detailed personal training program to enhance skill development.

Mike Walters Director of Coaching U.S.S.F. ‘C’ License Mike Walters is one of us! He grew up in Stow and played soccer under Timo Liekoski, former US National Team Coach and Director of Emerald Soccer Club. His playing career continued at Cleveland State University and then Bethany College in West Virginia.

Mike became one of the prominent coaches in the area in his tenure as head coach and Director of Coaching at NEO United Soccer Club out of NC Hudson. He is the Vice President of NC Soccer Club in Hudson and a managing member. His coaching motto is “each day is an opportunity to improve...make the most of it!” Mike resides in Brimfield, OH with his wife Alaina and his children Norah (6) and Kyle (4).
