EXPANSION JOINT DIRECTORY How is it made?

What is it?

IAFD will visit the site and work with plant staff to locate all prints needed for the book. Next IAFD will use IR fusion cameras to survey the entire unit top and bottom. All conditions will be noted during survey and detailed.

The EJD is a living book that begins by organizing all information relating to the unit’s expansion joints, surveys the joints for integrity, and then continually monitors them to indicate when replacements are needed. The surveys are dated, detailed, and updated in the plants copy of the directory for easy reference and planning of future replacements.
