EYG: Intentional Ministry
EYG: Intentional Ministry 1 John 3:16 Elevate- An in-depth Bible study for High School Students. Elevate meets on Mondays at 8pm in different homes. OneWay- An in-depth Bible study for Middle School Students. OneWay meets at 7pm every other Thursday in different homes. We meet at the building for rides at 6:45pm each time we have OneWay. Paid in Full- This is the name for our Wednesday evening class. We meet every Wednesday at 7 PM for worship, fellowship, and biblical study. Spring Retreat- We’re going back to Camp Rock Creek for Retreat. This is an opportunity for our students to remove themselves from the everyday hustle and bustle that they’re used to and carve out some time to study God’s word and to fellowship together. Retreats are one of our biggest events. Peak Wednesday- The first Wednesday of every month is Peak Wednesday. We meet at 5:45 in the youth room for food and fellowship for the whole family. The cost is $3 per person. We’ll also have a brief meeting with parents to discuss upcoming events and ministry needs. Winterfest- Winterfest is a huge youth rally in Arlington, TX. It is always encouraging to worship alongside fellow believers. The speakers are always excellent too. This is a trip for high school only. LTC – Leadership Training for Christ is a program to help equip our students for future ministry. There are numerous events that students can participate in. We encourage students to enjoy themselves and look for opportunities to use the skills they’ve developed to bless God’s kingdom. Lionwood- Every month that has a fifth Sunday, the youth group attends worship at Lionwood Senior Living Center instead of attending 2nd service.
