Wet Air Test or Inspection Visible wear is often seen as a shiny patch on the inside diameter of the sleeve. To wet air test with the boost assembly still in the valve body, place a small amount of ATF into the EPC port. Follow with low air pressure. There should be little or no leakage of air/oil past the valve spools and out the reverse port (Figure 1). 1. Disassembly

Note: This assembly is adjustable, and set for the particular application at the factory. Before removing OE boost sleeve, take note of the adjustable step/pin location and make sure that the Sonnax sleeve is installed at the same height/location (Figure 2). Failure to do so will result in incorrect line rise.
Remove the worn boost assembly and discard, saving the OE retaining pin for reuse. Figure 2
2. Installation a. Insert the Sonnax boost valve and sleeve into the valve body as shown (Figure 3). b. Install Sonnax boost valve plug and OE retaining pin. Make sure that the adjustable step on the Sonnax sleeve is in the same location as the OE sleeve (Figure 2).
