In this workshop you will learn effective job search strategies, career goal setting, and a better understanding of what the “job market” is. You will be given the tools you need to start your personal job/internship search as well as answers to all of your questions from our supportive staff.

We know resumes are tricky, and we are here to simplify the process. We will discuss the basics of resume writing, how to tailor your resume to a specific job and considerations related to format, word content, and organization. Everyone needs a resume, let’s write yours!
I Have an Interview, Now What? Wednesday, September 24, 4:10-5 p.m. CUE 114
If you want to know what to expect in your interview, what they will ask you, and how to answer those questions, this workshop is for you. We will also cover the DO’s and DON’T’S of professionalism in regards to dress, attitude, and etiquette. We are excited to help you navigate your interview and we will help you feel prepared and confident to do well after attending this workshop.
Preparing for Career Expo Thursday, October 2, 4:10-5 p.m. CUE 203
If you want to get the most out of the career fair and be ready to work it like a pro, this workshop is for you! We will cover everything you need to know to be a success at the career fair. How to talk to employers, what to prepare ahead of time, and what you need to bring with you to the career fair are just some of the topics we will cover. Proper attire, etiquette and professional savviness will also be reviewed.
