½ yard Fabric for background. You will built your quilt on this fabric and when finished most of it will not show but I like to use something that when it does show it blends into the background. 4 yards of your favorite Fusible Web Glue Stick A large selection of fabrics, small pieces in assorted sizes will work. Pick a color or a theme to work with. Remember values when doing this. You do not need more than ¼ yard of any one fabric. Rotary cutter, Small Ruler, scissors, pins Pressing Mate (optional, but helpful if you have one) Small Iron (optional)
HOMEWORK: Before class, please start putting your fusible web on your fabric. The more of this you do before class the more time you will have to work on your collage.
