Bachelor of Accounting (Hons) - 3 years The Bachelor of Accounting (Hons) programme aims to produce professional accountants with excellent analytical skills and creative abilities so they possess all the attributes and skills required to be a competent accountant. At MAHSA students will be trained not only to think across disciplines, geographical and political boundaries but also to be equipped with a confident mastery of today’s technology. Accountants add value to business by driving down costs as well as identifying drivers of value and profitability. The curriculum is designed to meet the professional requirement and recognition by the professional bodies of accountants such as Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and Certified Practising Accountants (CPA), Australia.

• STPM, 2 relevant Principles or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.0, pass in Mathematics • A-level: 2 relevant Principles passes, with pass in Mathematics • UEC: Minimum 5Bs including Mathematics • SAM/Ausmat/HSC: An average score of 60% including Mathematics • Canadian PreU: Average of 60% • IB: 6 subjects with a minimum of level 4 pass for each subject, a total score of at least 24 points. • Matriculation: A minimum CGPA of 2.0 • Foundation: A minimum CGPA of 2.0 • Diploma: Any discipline with a minimum of CGPA 2.0 • A qualification that is equivalent to the above English Language Requirements: • SPM: Pass (Local Student) • O-level: Grade C
