FAIRFIELD NATIONAL LITTLE LEAGUE REGISTRATION – SPRING 2018 Anyone who did not play in Fairfield National Little League during the Spring 2018 season is required to register online or bring a copy of the player’s birth certificate and copies of three proofs of residency to registration night. Incomplete registrations and registrations for new players without the information noted above will not be accepted. ELIGIBILITY Fairfield has two Little Leagues, National and American. The National League boundary consists of all residences that are in the Stratfield, North Stratfield, Jennings, Holland Hill, McKinley and Burr school districts. To be eligible to play in the National League, th players must reside within the National League boundary, must be Little League age 5 or above and not reach their 13 birthday before August 31, 2018. ** See age chart for 2018 Grandfather clause (May 2005 – August 2005 birthdays)

If a player “Played Up” last year the changes will be made after registration closes. T-Ball, 6yr old and Minor B teams are formed primarily by elementary school district.
FEES - Fees for T-Ball and Minor B will be $185. Fees for Minor A through Majors will be $225. All fees include a uniform. Families experiencing financial hardship may request a full or partial waiver by sending an email to [email protected] . Payment can
be made by cash or check made payable to “Fairfield National Little League” or “FNLL”. Each player registration received after st st February 1 (Majors, AAA, AA & Minor A) and March 1 (all other divisions) must include a $25 late fee and that player will go on a waiting list. Players who register late will only be assigned to teams with openings.
MAJORS EVALUATIONS - Evaluations for Majors are tentatively scheduled for the weekend of February 24th in the Fairfield Warde High School gym. Additional details regarding final dates/times will be posted early in 2018. In 60 minute intervals, playe rs will be evaluated in groups of 10. During the registration process, players should be prepared to either sign-up for the evaluation or decline tryout. Returning Majors players are not required to participate in the evaluation. Deadline for Majors registration is February 1 st.
ROSTERS, SCHEDULE & PLAYER COMMITMENT – Rosters for Majors teams are scheduled to be announced around March 1
st.
Rosters for Minors teams are scheduled to be announced on March 15th. Rosters for T-Ball are scheduled to be announced on March 22nd. th
Opening day is scheduled for Saturday, April 7 . **Note – games will be scheduled during the week of April school vacation across all divisions. By registering for Little League, a player is committed to attending all required team practices and games unless excused. Unexcused absences may result in suspension or expulsion from the league. In addition, for a player to be eligible for summer AllStars, that player must attend at least 75% of their regular season schedule of games.
